Additional materials: A number of other texts and materials are relevant and useful, but not required. In general, the available readings on Humanitarian Assistance are less formally academic than what you may be used to from other graduate level courses. In addition to reviewed academic publications, we will utilize “grey literature” working papers, field reports, multimedia sources, and even agency promotional literature to try and obtain as rich a picture of the humanitarian world as possible.
